days
Difficulty
Easy
This journey through northeastern Brazil in search of mammals will be guided primarily by primates, all of which are endemic to the region – and most of them threatened in some level. We'll also be on the lookout for other rare and remarkable species, such as the Northern Maned Sloth, Rock Cavy, and the iconic Brazilian Three-banded Armadillo, among others.
Our route will take us through an incredible variety of habitats, exploring the diverse landscapes of the Atlantic Forest, Caatinga, and Cerrado biomes. Along the way, we'll be immersed in breathtaking scenery, rich cultural traditions, and delicious local cuisine.

Long distances are covered by vehicle, but walking is kept to a minimum. Wildlife areas are always close to where we stop, and walks are short, usually on flat trails or roads, with only a few gentle slopes here and there.
