Ketrin Gabriel grew up in Arroio do Meio, in the green hills of southern Brazil, where her family’s love for birds first sparked her own passion for nature. What started as curiosity soon became a way of seeing the world.
She went on to study Tourism at UFPel, drawn by her fascination with travel and the positive impact it can have on people and places. During her studies, she discovered that tourism could be more than just movement—it could be a bridge: connecting travelers with communities, supporting conservation, and creating experiences that stay with people for life.
At Brazil Birding Experts, Ketrin brings all of this together. She’s part of our reservations and guest services team, carefully shaping the journeys that our travelers live out in the field. For her, it’s more than logistics: it’s about creating smooth, thoughtful experiences that help people reconnect with birds, with nature, and with themselves.
